atoxicdream I've been waiting for maybe 11 years for this album. This is the anthem of my 20s when I was learning about the outside world and venturing outside of my comfort zone into the Kenosha music scene. This is a great summer time jam to play outdoors. To Marc Eaton, you will be forever in our hearts. R.I.P.

Yeah, we're up to something Yeah, we're coming It's what you aught to be It's what you want to be It's what you aught to be Yeah, you don't need it You don't need them It only happens when you're least expecting it to happen It only happened when you least expected it to happen Believe in me Believe in yourself

What If 02:53
What if I took a trip and all I had were these strings and these dreams, would I come back again? And what if this whole world has all been a dream, and you wake up to learn that it’s all make-believe, would you scream... again? And I see myself in a thousand years And I hear myself in everyone’s ears And I remember when I was here... again So I close my eyes, I pretend that I’m flying. I’m somewhere else in my mind and I find myself hiding from myself again. When everything’s changed in the blink of an eye and you die, and you die, and you die, and you die… again. And I see myself in a thousand years And I hear myself in everyone’s ears And I remember when I was here... again In the year 3,000... (What if I was here again?) Do you remember when? (What if I was here again?) In the third dimension... (What if I was here again?) Will you remember then? (What if I was here again?) (I bet they’ll mention me in the next century.) Die, die, die... And you die...

Want Out 04:29
If you want it to happen, just make it, fake it, arrange it the way you want it to be, yeah A time will come when all the lights are low, yet somehow you see the way. The way you want it to be You want out... of hiding behind your shame. There’s no one left to blame. You want... You want... You want out In your hour, (hour) your moment (moment), you hold it, sold it, false... The way you want it to be A time will come when everything falls miraculously into place… The way you want it to be. You want out... of hiding behind your shame. There’s no one left to blame. You want... You want... You want out You want... You want... You want...

R.I.P. 06:07
In the brightest light you can very easily see all the things you wouldn’t normally Black of night, starlit sky, by moonlight, stroke of midnight... Your reflection’s growing dim up on the water, rippling. And if you want in; if you want it, run with it. You can’t take back what you have already put in. It’s all a part of it, our circle of friends. We’re all a part of this, that circle never ends. Give in to me... In the cemetery, feelings dark and dreary, you hear the songs that you once played. Your reflection’s merely who you used to be. On your tombstone reads: “Here lie the dreams that you once conceived.” Give in to me... In the cemetery, feelings dark and dreary, you hear the songs that you once played. Your reflection’s merely who you used to be. On your tombstone reads: “Here lie your dreams.” Hope you rest in peace. Give in to me...

about

"Hippie-Hop" was the debut release from Kenosha’s infamous Richard Cranium. This EP was recorded, and had a soft-release in the early 2010s, and has now been made available to the public over eight years later.

Before the passing of drummer, Marc Eaton in 2014, Richard Cranium began recording for two additional releases. Proceeds and donations from this release ("Hippie-Hop") will help to fund their completion, and honor the legacy of Marc.

In loving memory of Marc Eaton. R.I.P.
